All the Sensation boats are designed by the twin brothers Andre and Riaan van Helsdingen from Twin Boats based near Vaal Dam. “Experience is perhaps the best teacher when it comes to boat construction. And we’ve learned our lesson well.” Sensation had developed a unique lamination, schedule that puts the strength where it’s needed without adding unneccery weight, for increased performance and better fuel economy.

The lamination process start with an advanced technology, polyester gelcoat for superior resistance to yellowing, fading and chalking. To help prevent bottom blisters we use isopholic resin because of it’s superior bonding characteristics and exceptional flex.

For a quiet ride and added strength, we inject closed-cell foam into every cavity between the stringers and floorboards. Experience has also taught us the only way we know to make sure we always going to enjoy the experience of boating sensationally.
